Womankind Worldwide is a women's rights and economic development organisation working with partner organisations to achieve lasting improvement in women's economic, social and political position worldwide.

The charity has a global reach, for example working in Sudan to combat Female Genital Mutilation, alongside the NGO RAINBO.[1] and in Nepal to empower Dalit women against gender based violence, with help from a grant from the The Body Shop Foundation. [2]
Womankind Worldwide was the subject of the BBC Radio 4 Appeal in February 2011, presented by Sandi Toksvig.[3]
